Our mission is to develop inexpensive discovery and diagnostic tools that make research and predicting patient response to particular drugs more effective and thereby reduce healthcare cost and improve human lives. Genomic Expression was incorporated in the US July 2009, and acquired global rights to all IPR from Genomic Expression Aps, a Danish company.

Gitte L. Pedersen, President & CEO, co-founder
Gitte L. Pedersen has more than 20 years of management level experience in the biotech/pharma industry. Ten years from Novo Nordisk in a number of executive positions, successfully developing and launching new products, developing and implementing new marketing strategies. She has worked in Europe, in the USA as well as in India and advised a number of biotech and governmental institutions resulting in numerous licensing and equity deals with companies such as GSK, JnJ, Merck, P&G, Wyeth, Takeda, SR-One and Phoenix IP Venture. Her aggregated deal resume north of $1 billion GEx is Gitte Pedersen’s 3rd start-up experience. Gitte holds a Master in Chemical Engineering & Business Degree. |

Morten L. Pedersen, CTO, founder
Morten L. Pedersen is the founder and CTO. He has a Ph.D. in genetics, which he completed at the John F. Kennedy Institute; a Danish R&D institute specializing in congenital diseases and genetic counseling. Morten Pedersen has worked with genetics since he graduated with a master in molecular biology and chemistry from University of Roskilde in 1995. He has worked as an R&D assistant at the Forensic Genetics Departments of Copenhagen University implementing new DNA technology; at TAG-Copenhagen he performed commercial sequencing. During his Ph.D. project he spent time at David Housman’s laboratory at the Centre for Cancer Research, MIT, Cambridge. Morten L. Pedersen is the inventor of the DNA barcode technology.
Jan Lomholdt, CBO
Jan Lomholdt comes from a position as CEO North America and Global VP Sales & Marketing for CLC Bio, a Danish bioinformatics company focusing of solutions for Next Generation Sequencing. He developed a global sales organization and took the company from 100K $ to 7 mill $ in 3 years. Jan Lomholdt has held executive management positions in the 4 bill dollar public Nordic IT company and been the CEO in international public CRM Software company Superoffice. He holds a Master from the Danish Royal defense academy and have attended management courses MIT, Sloan Management, IMD and Chasminstitute. Officer in the Danish Army
