The DNA barcode technology is in its essence platform agnostic. It can be applied on an array or to Next Generation Sequencing platforms. On any platform it can provide an application engine.
Digital Array
Implemented on an inexpensive digital array, the DATA™ product can analyze nucleic acids from any source imaginable. Unlike the current analog arrays, it can identify new information and the same array can be applied to an unlimited list of applications; from mRNA profiling to profiling of mixtures of unknown micro-organisms and prognostics for diseases such as Cancer and HIV.
Implementation
DATA™ looks like a conventional arrays; it’s a piece of glass spotted with synthetic DNA and it can be read in a conventional scanner. Therefore it can be implemented using established laboratory equipment and infrastructure. |
